The Philadelphia area has cooled down, but my writer’s life has heated up. Lots of talks scheduled this fall for my new novel, The House on Chambers Road: A Ghost Story. I’ll be reading and speaking at libraries, historical sites, and other venues. It’s such fun to get out and meet my readers. They are always full of wonderful questions and observations. And I always learn something from them.
Soon autumn will truly be here, with its turning leaves, dusky evenings, and jack-o-lanterns, not to mention apple cider doughnuts and that distinct scent of je ne sais quoi in the air. What better season for a ghost story? But The House on Chambers Road is not your average ghost story. It’s a tale of love, friendship, and the choices we make that could haunt us forever.
